Sindi Kuci

Sindi Kuci is a Policy Advisor at the Carbon Balance Initiative. Her current work focuses on exploring new jurisdictions and co-leading Carbon Balance’s international engagement on geological net zero, credible international carbon markets and supply-side clubs for transition away from fossil fuels. Sindi has extensive experience working on international carbon markets, with a specific focus on ensuring the environmental integrity of Article 6 of the Paris Agreement, having previously worked as a researcher at the Oxford Sustainable Finance Group, the LSE Grantham Research Institute, and the Climate Litigation Lab. In parallel, Sindi has been contracted as a consultant by the Wales Public Policy Center (WPPC), Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), and the World Bank Group, advising on the creation and implementation of corporate frameworks and national policies on carbon markets. Sindi has graduated with an MPhil in Development Studies from the University of Oxford, where she researched the litigation ecosystem around small-scale hydropower plants in Southern Chile.

Sindi is happiest when exploring a big city for the first time, dancing alongside friends to live music, or reading a good work of literary fiction.
